After shooting 4 thesis films & directing my own while earning an MFA at the University of Miami, my first production job involved picking up cigarette butts & making coffee.  That was great motivation to focus on the camera department and work my way up as a loader, 2nd AC, and eventually focus puller (in the film days!) before moving full time into operating and shooting. Since then my work has taken me to more than 40 countries on 6 continents working on movies, documentaries, feature stories for ESPN, CNN, Turner Sports, HBO, BBC, as well as nonprofits such as the Starkey Hearing Foundation.  I enjoy working small (me & a producer with only the gear we can carry) or as part of a bigger team.  Also, I make a mean cafe latte.
